MERCER COUNTY, N.J. – The Saint Joseph's men's rowing Varsity 4+ advanced to Saturday's Final 3 its event at the 2024 IRA National Championship.

How It Happened
• The Hawks' Varsity 4+ of C-David Knapp, 4-Diego Veiga de Roovere, 3-Andrew Skakal, 2- Patrick Miklus, 1- Max Stoltzmann opened the national championship on Friday as it completed its time trial in 6:17.562, placing 13th overall in the 35-boat event.
• In the afternoon's highly-competitive semifinal, Saint Joseph's crossed the finish line in 6:33.710 to place sixth.
• With its finish in the semifinals, Saint Joseph's advanced to the Varsity 4+ Final 3 at 11 a.m. on Saturday and will face Penn, Drexel, Hobart, Boston University and Stetson.
