MERION STATION, Pa. – The Saint Joseph's women's tennis team kicked off the SJU Invitational on Friday afternoon in good form, collecting four wins without a defeat.
 
In singles play, Claudia Perez-Garcia led her Crimson Flight match when her opponent retired, while Ana Ocasio routed her opponent at love.
 
On the doubles side, Perez-Garcia teamed with Gisele Tang for an 8-4 win in the Crimson Flight while Ocasio and Addison Melfi were 8-2 winners in the Gray Flight.
 
Play continues on Saturday at the SJU Tennis Complex.
