NEWARK, N.J. – The Saint Joseph's women's tennis team returned to action on Friday but fell at NJIT, 6-1.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Freshmen
Addison Melfi and
Gisele Tang claimed a 7-5 win in the second doubles flight, but the Highlanders took the first and third to secure the doubles point.

Charlotte Kordonowy was a 6-3, 6-3 winner in the fourth singles flight, but NJIT collected wins in each of the other flights to finish off the match.

Jeff Puhan said. "A solid doubles win for freshman duo Addison and Gisele, and every court was competitive today in singles. This is a positive sign moving forward!"
