VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The Saint Joseph's women's track and field team opened day one inside of the Virginia Beach Sports Center at the Atlantic 10 Indoor Championships with four qualifying performances for Saturday's finals.

TRACK RESULTS

• St. Joe's got its first qualifier for tomorrow's final through Kimberly Johnson. The senior produced a 1:15.81 time in the 500m prelims, finishing with the fifth-fastest time. 
• A pair of Hawks recorded qualifying times in the 800m, led by Tess Crossan crossing the finish line in fourth with a time of 2:13.69 to put her name in tomorrow's final. Freshman Gemma Chevoor recorded an eighth-place time of 2:16.54 to secure a spot in the final alongside Crossan.
• Ava Curry became the fourth Hawk to qualify on the evening, running a 2:55.61 time to earn the final spot in the 1000m final.
