MERION STATION, Pa. – The Saint Joseph's women's tennis team collected a pair of wins on Saturday, topping Le Moyne by a 4-3 score before shutting out Coppin State, 7-0, at the SJU Tennis Complex.

• The visitors took the early lead, claiming wins in the second and third doubles flights to grab the first point of the day.
 
• Charlotte Kordonowy got the Hawks back level with a win in the third flight before Wiktoria Czerny and Victoria Tracey finished off their second- and first-flight opponents, respectively, to bring the Hawks within a point of the match victory.
 
• The Dolphins fought back with wins in the fifth and sixth flights to level the match, with just Addison Melfi's fourth-flight tilt left on court.
 
• After falling a set behind, Melfi stormed back for a 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 win to secure the clinching point for the Hawks.

• The Hawks made quick work of CSU, taking the doubles point with wins at love in both the first and second flights.
 
• Tracey, Czerny, and Kordonowy won in straight sets in the top three flights, while Melfi and Ana Ocasio won eight-game pro sets in the fourth and fifth flights, respectively.
