VILLANOVA, Pa. – The Saint Joseph's women's tennis team dropped a tight match on Wednesday, falling at Villanova by a 4-2 score.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Villanova took the lead early with wins in the top two doubles flights to secure the first point of the match.

Charlotte Kordonowy won in straight sets in the third flight to get the Hawks on the board, and Addison Melfi won the first set of her fourth flight match before her opponent retired, but the hosts would collect wins in the first, second, and sixth flights to clinch the overall victory.
