OLEAN, N.Y. – The Saint Joseph's women's tennis team fell to Dayton, 4-0, in a neutral-site match on Saturday.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Hawks put up a battle in doubles play, but the Flyers were able to grab wins in the first and third flights to secure the point.  Charlotte Kordonowy and Brooke Tackett were level at six games apiece in the second flight when play was halted.
 
• Kordonowy won the first set of her singles match in the third flight, but was in the midst of the third set when the Flyers clinched the result with wins in the first, second, and fourth flights.
 
HAWK TALK
"The team came out fast in doubles; although they didn't win the point, the level was high and they put themselves in position to win.  In singles play, we pushed them, but came up short.  Now it's a quick turnaround tomorrow for Bucknell."
