GRASONVILLE, Md. – Saint Joseph's women's golf team finished in ninth place as the Hawks wrapped up play at Intercollegiate at Prospect Bay on Sunday.
How It Happened
• Individually,
Hanna Mitchell posted a three-round score of 94-88-92/274 and finished tied of 42nd place.
•
Elora Walker finished in 44th place with a three-round tally of 93-89-95/277.
•
Allie Gesztesi shot 96-99-102/297 over the two-day event and placed 48th.
•
Ava Tornello posted a score of 108-94-99/301 to finish 49th.
•
Olivia Cooper capped the five-person team with a score of 108-117-112/337 and placed 50th.
• As a team, St. Joe's posted a three-round score of 391-370-388/1149 at the nine-team event.
• LIU captured the team title over Bucknell on a tiebreaker after the two teams finished with identical scores of 938.
• LIU's Vanessa Moreno Reyes won a three-way tiebreaker for medalist honors with a score of 230.
• The Intercollegiate at Prospect Bay was held at the par-72 Sunnehanna Country Club (6,110 yards).
