MERION STATION, Pa. - Taylor Trowbridge tossed a one-hitter as the Saint Joseph's softball team completed a three-game sweep of the George Washington Revolutionaries with a 1-0 win on Saturday, 

BY THE NUMBERS

• In authoring her second complete game shutout of the weekend, Trowbridge walked one and struck out three. 
• Sarah Cancila, Riley York, Meghan Sinkus and Hailey Peterson each had a hit for the Hawks. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• St. Joe's scored the lone run of the game in the second inning. Meghan Sinkus reached on an infield single and moved to second on a groundout, Hailey Peterson came up and continued her hot hitting in the series, driving in Sinkus with an RBI single to left, putting SJU up 1-0 
• Saint Joseph's loaded the bases in the fifth, but were unable to get any insurance. 
• Trowbridge (10-8) took a no-hitter into the sixth and saw the only blemish on her record as a double that just snuck inside the third base line.

The Hawks are back in action on Wednesday when they host Lehigh in a non-conference matchup. First pitch from the SJU Softball Field is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
