WARREN, Ohio – Playing through cold and wet conditions, the Saint Joseph's women's golf team is in eighth place after Sunday's first round of the Youngstown State Spring Invitational.

How It Happened
• As a team, the Hawks shot 366 in the opening round.
• Individually, Hanna Mitchell posted a round of 85 and is tied for 33rd.
• Elora Walker shot 88 and is in 44th place.
• Allie Gesztesi shot 96 and is in 49th place.
• Ava Tornello carded a round of 97 and is in 40th place.
• Olivia Cooper is tied for 53rd after shooting 104 on the afternoon.
• Youngstown State leads the eight-team field by 10 strokes after posting a score of 287.
• Maddi Shoults of Youngstown State sits atop the individual leaderboard with a three-stroke lead at 69.
• The Youngstown State Spring Invitational is being held at the par-72 Avalon Lakes Golf Course (5,813 yards).
