Saint Joseph's senior defenseman Levi Verch was named an All-American honorable mention by a trio of organizations.

The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA), Inside Lacrosse and USA Lacrosse Magazine each tabbed the Canadian native as an honorable mention in the final edition of the honors.

One of the most decorated players in St. Joe's history, Verch finished his career on Hawk Hill as one of the best defensemen in program history. The Victoria, British Columbia native played in 63 games, tying for fifth-most appearances in school history. Verch also ranked third-most with 69 caused turnovers while finishing his career as one of just seven Hawks to register more than 200 ground balls in a career.

A two-time Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Year selection, Verch holds two of the top three single-season marks in program history in caused turnovers over the last two years while also setting a single-game record in 2024 with six caused turnovers against Boston University in the season opener. Verch has also recorded four caused turnovers on five separate occasions, all tying for third-most in a single-game in program history. During the stretch, Verch was one of the most dominant players in the country in recovering ground balls, ranking in the top five among non-faceoff specialists in each of the last two seasons in ground balls per game.

Verch was selected in the second round of the PLL Draft earlier this month, becoming the highest draft pick in program history after being chosen by the Carolina Chaos with the 13th overall pick. The senior earned preseason All-American honors prior to the 2025 campaign as well as being named to the 2025 Tewaaraton Award preseason watch list. Verch was also named to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference Team on three separate occasions, while also being named to the Allstate NACDA Good Works Team for the impact made in the classroom and the community. Helping the Hawks to two NCAA Tournament appearances after an NEC Championship in 2022 and an Atlantic 10 Championship in 2024, Verch was recently named as a Saint Joseph's Class of 1950 Award recipient as one of the school's top graduating senior student-athletes
