PHILADELPHIA – The Saint Joseph's women's tennis team took on Drexel on Saturday, falling to the Dragons by a 5-2 score.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Wiktoria Czerny and Victoria Tracey earned a 7-5 win in the top doubles flight, but the hosts took the second and third flights to secure the first point of the match.
 
• Drexel took the top four singles flights to claim enough points to win the match.  Elena Fleming and Amari O'Brien earned 8-7 (5) and 8-6 victories in the fifth and sixth flights, respectively.

"Today, the team came to fight," head coach Jeff Puhan said.  "Tori and Victoria picked up their first doubles win over a very good Drexel team.  In singles, we battled.  Freshman Elena Fleming keeps impressing with a solid win.  I'm proud of how we competed and battled to the end.  Now we meet Bucknell on Friday."
