RICHMOND, Va. – The Saint Joseph's women's tennis team fell to Duquesne, 4-0, in a neutral site match at VCU on Friday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Dukes won both completed doubles matches to claim the first point of the day.
• Duquesne then won all three singles matches that were finished to claim the overall victory.
Valeria Casusol battled from a set down to force a third set before ultimately falling in the second flight, while both
Elena Fleming and
Amari O'Brien were level at a set apiece in the third and fifth flights, respectively, when play was halted. Meanwhile, in the sixth flight,
Gisele Tang won the first set and was level in the second at the end of the match.
