ORLANDO, Fla. – The 10th-seeded Saint Joseph's women's tennis team fell to seventh-seeded Saint Louis, 4-0, in the opening round of the 2026 Atlantic 10 Women's Tennis Championship at the USTA National Campus on Wednesday night.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Saint Louis took the lead via the doubles point.  Wiktoria Czerny and Victoria Tracey were winners in the top flight, but the Billikens won the second and third to grab the first point of the match.
 
• The Hawks battled in singles play, but ultimately could not finish off a victory before the Billikens posted wins in the three completed matches.  Tracey won the first set of her fourth-flight match before ultimately succumbing in three sets, while Elena Fleming came from a set down to force a third set in the third flight.
 
• Meanwhile, Gisele Tang won the first set of her sixth-flight match before play was halted.
