Women's Rowing Competes In Opening Day Of Dad Vail Regatta

PENNSAUKEN, N.J. – The Saint Joseph's women's rowing team raced three boats in the opening day of competition at the 2026 Jefferson Dad Vail Regatta on the Cooper River on Friday.

How It Happened
• St. Joe's Second Varsity 8 opened the morning with the fifth fastest time in the time trials at 6:53.615.
• In the Second Varsity 8 Semifinal, the Hawks crossed the line in 7:24.370 for third place and advanced to the Second Varsity 8 Grand Final Coleman D. Boylan Trophy.
• The Saint Joseph's Varsity 8 posted a time of 6:19.603 in its trial for the third fastest time.
• In the Varsity 8 Semifinal, the Hawks posted a time of 6:45.400 to finish fifth and advance to Saturday's Petite Final.
• The Hawks' Second Varsity 8 turned in a time of 7:16.5 for fourth place, less than a second behind La Salle in third.
• In the Varsity 4 Final 3, St. Joe's completed the course in 8:42.890 to finish third.
