Saint Joseph’s Athletics and Main Line Health Announce New Affiliation

7/22/2026 11:00:00 AM

Saint Joseph's Athletics and Main Line Health have announced a landmark affiliation establishing the System as the exclusive medical provider for the Hawks. Along with serving as a title sponsor for the Hawks' Division I programs, Main Line Health will become the first-ever jersey-patch partner in St. Joe's history.

As the most significant corporate affiliation in Saint Joseph's Athletics history, this agreement places the Main Line Health logo on the uniforms of the Division I Hawks teams. This prominent placement delivers wide-reaching exposure for the health system across television, streaming channels, digital platforms, and live gameday events.

"We are thrilled to embark on this affiliation with Main Line Health for a transformative opportunity for both Saint Joseph's Athletics and the Hawk Hill Community," said Saint Joseph's University Vice President and Director of Athletics Ashwin Puri. "Our relationship with Main Line Health as the exclusive medical provider for the Hawks aligns with our core values in continuing to strengthen our culture and holistic student-athlete development. This is about far more than brand visibility; it is a shared commitment to peak performance, health, and preparing our Hawks for life beyond the playing field."

Marking a historic milestone for the Big 5, Saint Joseph's Athletics has emerged as a trailblazer in the NCAA's new era of jersey sponsorships. This pioneering affiliation highlights the department's forward-thinking strategy as it navigates and capitalizes on the rapidly evolving landscape of collegiate athletics. At its core, this collaboration is an investment in the future of Saint Joseph's student-athletes, ensuring that all new revenue directly funds the top-tier competitive and support services necessary for their success.

"We're proud to expand our relationship with Saint Joseph's as the exclusive medical provider for the Hawks. To have the Main Line Health logo represented on the Hawks athletic uniforms is an honor," said Ed Jimenez, President and CEO of Main Line Health. "Our relationship with Saint Joseph's University extends back many years through the education and training of future healthcare professionals. This affiliation builds on that strong foundation, deepening our relationship while reflecting our shared commitment to supporting student-athletes and improving the health and well-being of the communities we both serve."

The Main Line Health patch will make its official debut on the Hawks' jerseys at the start of the upcoming fall sports season. Further specifics will be provided once the NCAA and conference guidelines are officially finalized.
