UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Saint Joseph's women's golf team opened its 2026-27 season on Monday with the first two rounds of the Nittany Lion Invitational at the Penn State Blue Course.

• As a team, the Hawks posted rounds of 308 and 331 for a 36-hole total score of 639 across the first two rounds.

Mariana Forero paced Saint Joseph's on opening day, posting scores of 74-81/155 to lead the lineup.

Olivia Kury shot 77-81/158, whileÂ
Ruby Haloukas carded a score of 77-83/160.
• In their first matches as Hawks,
Stella Bodensteiner and
Abigail McCorkell posted scores of 80-86/166 and 81-89/170, respectively.
• Maryland leads the 18-team field with a 36-hole total of 563, holding a one-stroke lead over second-place Virginia Tech (564).
• Virginia Tech's Valentine Delon holds the individual lead after shooting 69-66/135.
