2019: Made all 18 starts in net as SJU's starting goalkeeper... Made 12 saves against Saint Peter's and 10 saves against Fairfield.
2018: Made all 18 starts in net as SJU's starting goalkeeper... Totaled a 1.91 goals against average and .691 save percentage in 1599:46, all but 87:22 on the season... Went 8-7-3 overall... Made four saves vs. two goals allowed in collegiate debut at William and Mary... Earned first career win in just second collegiate match, at Saint Peter's... Posted three shutouts... Made four saves and blanked Navy for first collegiate shutout and to backstop SJU to its first win over the Midshipmen in program history... Also blanked Fairfield (three saves) and St. Bonaventure (seven saves)... Also earned wins over Quinnipiac (5 saves vs. 2 goals allowed), Sacred Heart (2 saves vs. 1 goal allowed), VMI, and Fordham (3 saves vs. 2 goals allowed)... Combined for 18 saves, including a career-high 13 vs. the Dukes, in back-to-back draws against Duquesne and La Salle... Also made five saves in season finale vs. Saint Louis to help SJU to an unbeaten 6-0-2 home record on Sweeney Field.
High School/Personal: Four-year starting goalkeeper for the USSF Developmental Academy from 2013-17... Played with the Andromeda FC U-16 team as a freshman, Solar Soccer Club U-16 team as a sophomore, and Solar Soccer Club U-18 team as a junior... Played club for Dallas Texans Red U-19 team as a senior... Played his senior year of soccer for Grapevine High School, where he was named to the 2018 All-State and Academic All-State teams, the 2018 All-District 8 5-A First Team as the Offensive Player of the Year, and the 2018 All-Region First Team... Also tabbed the 2018 Grapevine Offensive Player of the Year and earned 2018 Fort Worth Star-Telegram Player of the Week honors... Led Grapevine to 14-9-1 record that season... Member of the National Honor Society at Grapevine... Involved with NPSL Fort Worth Vaqueros soccer club in Texas... Has volunteered with GRACE, the VAST after-school program, the local animal shelter, and Meals on Wheels... Grandfather, Emil Abood, played football at Florida State University... Mother and uncle both received scholarships to play Division I basketball... Majoring in business intelligence and analytics.
