Biography

Two-time honorable mention All-American in soccer... Was the MVP of the Middle Atlantic Conference twice... Earned Regional All-America and All-Conference honors three times... Four-year starter at midfield/sweeper back who keyed the Hawk defense that averaged a 1.0 goals against average during his career... SJU teams recorded 26 shutouts during his career, tying for the most during any four-year span in SJU history... Team captain for the 1971 and 1972 seasons while also helping the team reach two NCAA Tournaments... Tallied eight goals and three assists... Served as an assistant coach with the Hawks from 1974 to 1983... Is a native of Philadelphia, Pa. and is a graduate of North Catholic High School.
