Biography

A three-year starting pitcher/outfielder, he was named All-Middle Atlantic Conference selection as a sophomore in 1970, posting a 5-1 record with a 2.49 ERA... He also earned honorable mention All-Conference selection in 1971, batting career high .319 and posting a 2-2 record on the mound in helping team to MAC Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance... As a senior, he tied for team honors with four wins against two losses and a 3.47 ERA... Hawks posted a 46-19-2 record (.704) during his career, tying for best three-year mark in program history... Hunsicker served one year (1974) as an assistant on SJU staff, three as assistant at Florida International (1975-78)... He now has over 15 years of front office experience in professional baseball... Currently is the senior administrator for baseball operations for the Los Angeles Dodgers... Hails from Collegeville, Pa. and is a graduate of Collegeville-Trappe High School.
