He was a member of the U.S. national team instrumental to the reestablishment of rowing as a varsity sport at SJU... The youngest member of U.S. Lightweight 8 that placed sixth at the 1990 World Championships in Australia... Helped lead the US Lightweight 8 to the 1990 U.S. National Championships... Was the 1989 U.S. Club Champion with Vesper Boat Club... Also competed at World University Games, U.S. Olympic Festival, and Canadian Henley Regatta... He was named SJU team captain in 1991 and 1992, where he helped the Hawks' Lightweight 8 to 4th place finish at Dad Vail... Received the Class of 1950 Award winner as top senior athlete at SJU... Was also a two-time Scholastic National Champion (1987-88)... Native of Merion, Pa. and graduate of St. Joseph's Prep.
