He served over six decades as an outstanding athlete and coach... As cross country team captain, Quinn set school records in the mile and two mile... A two-time conference champion in both cross country and mile, setting meet records in each... Placed third and was top American finisher at 1961 IC4A Cross Country Championship... Was also the recipient of the Class of 1950 Award in 1962 for senior athlete... As his time coaching. he was twice Atlantic 10 Coach of the Year in Cross Country... He is the only person to serve as president of both the IC4A and ECAC Coaches Associations... Also coached the Hawks only National Champion (Donna Crumety), as well as 8 All-Americans, 2 Junior National Champions, 5 ICAAAA Champions and 5 ECAC Champions... Hails from Bala Cynwyd, Pa. and graduated high school from St. Joseph's Prep.
