She is known as one of the top perimeter shooters in SJU women's basketball history... During her career helped the Hawks reach the NCAA Tournament all four years and earn national rankings in three seasons... Helped the team make three appearances in the NCAA Second Round, claimed three Big 5 titles and finished as the Atlantic 10 runner-up... Fitzpatrick captained the squad as a junior and senior... She currently holds the SJU record for 3-point accuracy at 40.4 percent...Ranks seventh on the Hawks' all-time list for assists with 355 and ranks 19th among SJU's leading scorers with 993 career points... In the 1988-89 season she set the school mark for free throw percentage in a season (89 percent)... She was named Atlantic 10 All-Rookie selection and All-Conference honoree her last two years and All-Big 5 first team in 1990... Inducted into both the Big 5 Hall of Fame and the SJU Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in 1997... Is a native of Philadelphia, Pa. and a graduate of West Catholic High School.
