Biography

He was a three-year starter at center halfback... In his junior season, he earned Honorable Mention All-America honors (1962)... Earned Second Team All-America honors as a senior (1963)... Is one of just four players in SJU men's soccer history to earn multiple Regional All-America honors... Walls helped the Hawks compile a 21-6-2 overall record during his career, including a 9-1 record during his junior season, still the best mark in SJU men's soccer history... He was a mainstay of a defensive unit that allowed just 31 goals over 29 games (1.07 goals against average), and was part of 10 shutouts over his career... On November 16, 1963 he scored his lone goal of his career against Gettysburg... Is the current chairman of math department at Pennsbury High, where has he has served as a teacher for the past 39 years... Native of Philadelphia, Pa. and graduate of Northeast Catholic High School.
