Biography
One of the premier distance runners in SJU history… Won a total of nine Atlantic 10 championships during her career… Was named the A-10’s Most Outstanding Performer four times – twice in cross country and twice in outdoor track… Qualified for the NCAA Championships in cross country three times, once in indoor track and once in outdoor track… Set the school record in four events and still holds the mark in three of them… Chosen to the Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team three times… Was inducted into the SJU Track Hall of Fame in 2007… After graduation she ran semi-professionally for two years with the Nike Farm team in Palo Alto, California… Returned to school and earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Villanova, and then graduated from its Second Degree program in 2006… Currently works as a nurse in the radiology department at Lankenau Medical Center… Originally from Drexel Hill, Pa., and attended Archbishop Prendergast High School.
