2022 (Game-by-Game):

  • Celebrated Senior Day with a two-hit gem for his third complete-game victory this season in game one of eventual sweep of Bloomfield. Faced the minimum through four, giving up just a one-out single that was immediately followed by a double play. He then worked his fourth and fifth 1-2-3 innings in both the sixth and seventh, putting a bow on his two-hitter by retiring a seventh straight batter (4/30)
  • Earned his second complete-game win in three starts, throwing his first career shutout in game one at Dominican. Surrendered just four hits over his seven innings, striking out five and issuing zero walks as he worked four 1-2-3 frames while allowing multiple runners to reach in just once (4/18)
  • Overcame a rain delay to go the distance as Jefferson scored its only two runs in the seventh, its first at-bat following the delay. He allowed just six hits, stranding runners in scoring position four times while working 1-2-3 frames in the first, fourth and eighth. Worked around a one-out single in the ninth to put a stamp on his first career complete-game victory (4/3)
  • Surrendered just two hits, with six strikeouts and no walks, in his five innings of work to earn game two win vs. Nyack. If not for errors or passed balls, no runner would've reached scoring position on him (3/26)
  • Came on to shut the door with three scoreless innings for his second career save in 6-4 triumph over West Virginia Wesleyan (3/10)
  • Making his second career start, worked five innings of one-hit ball to help USciences salvage a split with defending PSAC champion Bloomsburg in the Devils' season-opening doubleheader. He did not allow a runner to reach scoring position, working around a two-out error in the second while giving up just a lone two-out single in the third. His five innings were a new career-high, and he also struck out a career-best five against just the one base on balls. He worked 1-2-3 frames in the first, fourth and fifth (2/20)

2021 (Game-by-Game):

  • Appearing for the first time in over two years due to injury, threw a scoreless inning of relief in season-opener at regionally-ranked Wilmington (3/23)
  • Threw the last 1.2 innings of game one without surrendering a hit against regionally-ranked Wilmington (3/27)
  • Threw a career-high 3.2 innings at Chestnut Hill (4/14)
  • Threw two scoreless innings of relief, allowing just one hit, in game on victory over Chestnut Hill (4/18)
  • Came on to throw the final three frames in win at CACC South leader Goldey-Beacom to earn his first career save, surrendering two earned on six hits (4/23)
  • Making his first career start in game two at Post, kept USciences in it as a leadoff single in the second was the only hit he allowed in the second through fourth innings (5/1)
  • Two scoreless innings in game two victory over CACC North leader Felician (5/5)

2020: Derk did not appear in a game in the shortened 2020 season due to injury.

2019 (Game-by-Game): Derk made four appearances his freshman season, all out of the bullpen, pitching 4.0 innings before his season was cut short due to an injury.
