Ranks second on the Devils all-time combined wins list with 47; second on the Devils all-time singles wins list with 25 and third on the Devils all-time doubles wins list with 22

 

2014-15:  Led the team with a 9-7 singles record and a 9-9 doubles record all at the #1 singles and #1 doubles position…the nine singles wins ties her for the second highest singles win total in program history as does the nine doubles wins…won seven of her first eight singles contest in dual match play…scored an 8-0 pro-set win vs. Cabrini college on 4/21/15…won 6-2-63 vs. East Stroudsburg’s top layer on 10/8…had a 6-0, 6-3 win vs. Daemen on 10/15…recorded a 6-2, 6-1 win over Georgian Court University’s Mafi Leal on 9/23…recorded a straight set 6-0, 6-0 win vs. Cheyney on 9/21…earned a 9-7 pro-set win vs. Molloy on 9/20…won her first three singles matches of the season, including a 6-3, 6-1 win over Caldwell University’s Rebecca Ryan on 9/9…In doubles play, won her last match of the season 8-1 against Cabrini College, teaming with Andria Dang…with Melissa White, earned an 8-3 win over East Stroudsburg University on 10/8…beat Daemen, 8-2 with her primary partner Teresa Alvarez-Moreno on 10/15…had two additional wins with Alvarez-Moreno, defeating Georgian Court, 8-5 on 9/23  and Philadelphia University 8-4 on 9/14…the Philadelphia University win started a string of four consecutive doubles wins, two with Dang (Molloy on 9/20 and Cheyney on 9/21) and one with White (Cheyney on 9/21)…participated in both singles and doubles at the ITA East Region Tournament, losing in “A” singles bracket in the round of 64 in a third set tiebreaker, 2-6, 6-2, 0-1 against Adelphi University’s Katrina Barborikova….Lost in the round of 32 in the “A” doubles bracket to LeMoyne College, 4-8. 

2013-14:  Set a school record for singles wins in a season with ten all at #1 singles…Earned Second Team All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference honors with a 10-6 singles mark, including a 5-3 record in conference play…Was also 8-9 in doubles play all at #1 doubles…won her last two singles matches of the season with identical 6-0, 6-0 scores, defeating the top player from Cabrini College on 3/16/14 and St. Thomas Aquinas College on 10/23…Teamed with Melissa White to score identical 8-2 wins over the same schools to close out the season… recorded conference singles wins over Holy Family University’s top player, 6-4, 6-2 on 10/13 and Goldey-Beacom College’s top player, 6-5, ret. on 10/8…notched a win at Post University over their top player, 6-1, 6-2 on 9/28 and vs. Georgian Court University’s top layer, 7-5, 6-2 on 9/24…had a 6-2, 6-0 singles win vs. Caldwell College on 9/10..Teaming with White, recorded conference doubles wins at #1 doubles, over Post , 8-1 on 9/28; Georgian Court 8-2 on 9/24; and Caldwell, 8-4 on 9/10…won one doubles match, again with White at the ITA East Region Tournament on 9/21 defeating L.I.U.-Post 8-5 in the round of 64...then lost in the round of 32, 1-8 to Molloy…opened the season with a 6-2, 6-2 non-conference singles win over Philadelphia University’s Naia Bengoa. 

2012-13:  Earned Second Team All-CACC honors, with six singles wins and five doubles wins…all while playing at the #1 singles and doubles positions as a freshman…  three of her six singles wins were against conference opponents…Won her final two singles matches of the season in spring of 2013, earning a 5-7, 6-2, 1-0 (10-4) win over Randolph-Macon College’s top player on 3/24 and a 6-0, 6-0 win over Georgian Court University’s top player on 3/23…added a 6-2, 7-6 win at Rutgers-Camden on 10/14…had a 6-2, 6-3 win over Slater of Caldwell College on 10/13…had a 0-6, 6-1, 6-0 win over Leal of Georgian Court on 9/15…earned her first collegiate singles win on 9/9, defeating Ifill of Post University 6-0, 6-0…also had her first collegiate doubles win at Post, teaming with Sara Durham to earn an 8-0 win…won three of four doubles matches in the spring of 2013, all with Anna Vo as her partner..earned an 8-5 win At Bryn Mawr College on 3/29...earned an 8-4 win over Georgian Court on 3/23 and an 8-4 win at Millersville on 3/15….teamed with Durham for an 8-3 win at Caldwell college on 10/13…participated in the ITA East Region Tournament, going 0-1 in both singles and doubles. 

Honors and Activities:  Named to Dean’s List two times… Inducted into Alpha Lambda Delta National Freshman Honor Society, spring 2013… 

Prior to USciences:  Four year standout at Bel Air high School…Two-time Regional Girls Singles Champion, 2010 & 2012…Took fourth place in the Maryland State Tournament… Three-time UCBAC Girls Singles Champion, 2009-2010 and 2012…Team Most Valuable Player 2009-2012. 

Personal:  One of three children of Binh and Myhanh Quang…Entering her second professional and fourth year overall in USciences’ Doctor of Pharmacy program…”I decided to attend USciences and play tennis because I love the sport and the fact that USciences offered the opportunity to do both – play tennis and focus on school.”…after graduation plans to get a job as a pharmacist.
