Athletic Director's Corner
Dear Fellow Hawk,

Summer is in full swing here on Hawk Hill.  While most of our student-athletes have departed, this is among the busiest times of year for our coaches.  In addition to hitting the recruiting trail, many of our teams are offering camps, which will bring hundreds of youths from throughout the Delaware Valley to campus.

Off the field, I am pleased to report that we had four teams (Baseball, Golf, Women's Lacrosse and Women's Rowing) receive Public Recognition Awards from the NCAA for their latest Academic Progress Rating scores.

Meanwhile, individually, we had a number of our spring sport student-athletes recognized by Philly-SIDA and the Philadelphia Inquirer for their work in the classroom, including members of our women's lacrosse, men's rowing, women's rowing, softball, men's tennis, men's track and women's track teams.

Finally, as we diligently prepare for the 2013-14 academic year, please know that you are an integral part of our success.  Thank you for your loyalty and dedication to SJU Athletics.

Go Hawks!
