Billy McKinney joins the Saint Joseph's coaching staff for the 2011 season and will work with the team's defense and faceoff personnel.
McKinney also currently serves as the director of LEAPS Lacrosse, a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of underserved youth in Philadelphia through lacrosse.
Before coming to the Hawk Hill, McKinney was an assistant coach at both Haverford College (2010) and at Lafayette College (2009).
The 2006 graduate of the University of Denver was a two-year captain and received the Student Athlete Medallion Award twice for outstanding academic achievement.
McKinney also played professionally for two years (2007-08) with the Philadelpiha Barrage of Major League Lacrosse.
The Philadelphia native and 2001 graduate of William Penn Charter School currently resides in Philadelphia.
