A standout midfielder, he is one of two Hawk soccer players to earn All-Region honors three times (1962, '63, '64)... In his junior season (1963) he tallied a career high nine goals and tied a then-school record with four goals in a win over Eastern Baptist... During Plescha's three year career, he helped the Hawks to a 21-6-2 record... Was named team captain sophomore year (1962) and helped set a still-standing record for most consecutive wins (7) to start a season... Upon graduation, he served 22 years in the Air Force, including active duty with the 8th Tactical Fighter Wing during the Vietman War... A native of Neshaminy Falls, Pa. and a graduate of Cardinal Dougherty High School.
