Arguably the greatest player in school history who helped elevate the SJU program to a new level with the program's best season record at 30-2... Consensus National Player of the Year in 2004... Saint Joseph's career leader in points with 2,094, assists with 713 and steals with 256... Uniform number (#14) was retired on April 23, 2004... During the course of his career, the Hawks compiled a 98-28 record and made four post-season appearances, including a run to the NCAA Tournament Elite Eight in 2004... Was part of the most successful four-year class in school history... Led the 2004 team to a perfect regular season (27-0), the nation's top ranking for one week, and SJU's first-ever NCAA Tournament number-one seed... Ranks third among Atlantic 10's all-time career leaders in assists, ninth in points and 10th in steals... Originally from Chester, Pa.... Drafted in the first round of the 2004 NBA Draft by the Denver Nuggets but then traded to the Orlando Magic... Has played for seven seasons while establishing himself as one of the top guards in the league... Earned All-Star status and helped the Magic to the NBA Finals in 2009.
