Saint Joseph's University

Was a standout for the Saint Joseph's teams of the early 1960's... Served as co-captain of the 1962 squad which went 9-1 and came close to securing an NCAA Tournament bid... Served as the head coach at his alma mater, St. Joseph's Prep... One of the winningest coaches in Pennsylvania scholastic soccer with 600 career victories, the second highest total in state history... Led St. Joseph's Prep to 25 division titles, including the Philadelphia Catholic League championship in 2010... Was inducted into the Saint Joseph's Men's Soccer Hall of Fame in 1998 and into the Southeastern Pennsylvania Soccer Hall of Fame in 1999... Member of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame... Originally from the Germantown section of Philadelphia.
