One of the top distance runners in school history she was one of the best in the east during the late 1980's... As a junior, she finished in the top five in practically every event, both indoors and outdoors... Ran one of the best races ever turned in by a Hawk harrier at the 1989 ECAC Championships, taking third place in the 5,000 meters to earn All-East honors... Set the school record of 16:42.57 in that race and was named team captain in 1989... Was an annual qualifier to the ECAC Championships in the distance events and finished fourth in the 1987 CTC cross country meet... Also finished eighth at the 1989 Atlantic 10 Cross Country Championships... Was inducted into the SJU Track Hall of Fame in 2001... Hails from Havertown, Pa. and graduated from Archbishop Carroll High School.
