Biography

One of the top scorers in Saint Joseph's basketball history... Averaged double figures in each of his four seasons with the Hawks... Is tied for seventh on the all-time scoring list with 1,726 career points... Helped lead SJU to a berth in the NIT in 1979... Earned All-East Coast Conference honors for three consecutive years... Two-time All-Big 5 selection... Served as team captain his senior year... Chosen to the NABC All-District team in 1979 and was named the team's Most Valuable Player... Following graduation, played briefly for the NBA's Detroit Pistons and then played in the Continental Basketball Association... Has had a long and successful career as a player, coach and broadcaster in the Philippines, winning 10 Philippines Basketball Association titles as a coach... Won five championships as head coach of the Ateneo University men's basketball team in Manila... Originally from Baltimore, Md... Resides in Manila, Philippines, with his wife, Carmen, and their three children.
