Biography

One of the top distance runners in Hawk history... Posted top-three finishes in three consecutive years at the Atlantic 10 Cross Country Championships... Became the first SJU runner, male or female, to win the Atlantic 10 individual cross country title while leading the Hawks to their first-ever team championship... Finished second in the 3,000 meters at the 1993 ECAC Indoor Championships... Qualified for the 1993 NCAA Indoor Championships by setting the school record in the 5,000 meters (16:47.30), a mark that still stands today... Three-time Atlantic 10 All-Conference selection... Also excelled in the classroom and was chosen to the Academic All-America Second Team in 1993... Named to the Academic All-America First Team in 1994, becoming the track program's first student-athlete to earn the honor... Inducted into the Saint Joseph's Track Hall of Fame in 2002... Originally from Denver, Pa.
