Returning for his fourth season as an assistant coach is former Hawk standout David Wong.
A four-year letterwinner, Wong served as a captain for two seasons and was a member of the Varsity 8 that earned a silver medal at the Dad Vail Regatta in 2017 and rowed for the Varsity 8 at the IRA Championship which placed third in the D Level Final. A recipient of the team's Scholar-Athlete Award and member of the SJU Athletic Director's Honor Roll, he also helped SJU win the Bergen Cup and was a member of V8 that earned first-place finishes at the Knecht Cup and the Murphy Cup and a second-place finish at the Kerr Cup as a senior.
A three-year letterwinner in football and powerlifting at Parkland High School, he was a member of the team's District 11 Class 4A Football Champion team in 2012 and finished third for three consecutive years at the Pennsylvania Powerlifting State Championships.
Wong received a degree in accounting from Saint Joseph's in 2017.
