Member of the Hawks' soccer teams guided by Hall of Fame coach Jack Dunn.... During his three seasons, the Hawks compiled a 23-8-4 record... Was a key player for the squad which went 9-3 and reached the 1966 NCAA Tournament... Scored three goals in that season... Began his coaching career right after graduation and made his mark as one of the top high school soccer coaches in the country... Led Archbishop Ryan to 650 wins in his 44-year career, which ranks as the most in Pennsylvania history and the fifth most nationally... Guided Ryan to 13 Catholic League titles and a 61-match winning streak... Inducted into the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame in 2008... Currently the athletic director at Archbishop Ryan, a post he has held since 1976... Originally from Cornwell Heights, Pa., but now lives in Philadelphia with his wife, Beverly... They have five children and eight grandchildren.
