Jason Harken is back for a second season on the Saint Joseph's men's and women's tennis coaching staffs in 2025-26.
Harken is a 1993 graduate of Rutgers, where he was a four-year letterwinner on the men's tennis team. With the Scarlet Knights, he earned All-Atlantic 10 honors and was named the team's MVP and team captain during his tenure. Harken was also a Rutgers Scholar Athlete Award winner and was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team.
A native of the Philadelphia area, Harken was a highly-ranked junior before playing at North Penn High School. During his time with the Knights, Harken earned four All-Conference honors and earned a pair of conference championships; he also claimed district titles in singles and mixed doubles. He was inducted into the North Penn High School Hall of Fame in 2014.
As a coach, Harken has tutored numerous regionally- and nationally-ranked juniors and collegiate players. After his time at Rutgers, he went on to earn his MBA at Saint Joseph's.
