Andre turned in a mark of 5' 7" (1.70m) or better 28Â times over her career, going over that ECAC standard nine times, including a school-record indoor mark of 5' 9 1/4", which still stands, in the winter of 2018 and a collegiate-best outdoor mark of 5' 8 3/4" twice in the spring of 2018.
The standout captain was awarded Saint Joseph's Class of 1950 Award as the University's top graduating athlete from a female team in 2018. She was also the program's 2018 Most Valuable Performer.
"It's wonderful having Claudine back and involved with the program," said women's track and field head coach Melody O'Reilly. "Her enthusiasm for the jump events is contagious. In the short time she has been working with the jumpers, we have seen immediate results. Claudine found a way to breathe new life back into the program, and the jumpers are excited about their events again."
