Returning for his ninth season with the Hawks is Gary Falasca. An experienced ASA coach, he spent the previous 13 years coaching at the youth level before joining Saint Joseph's in 2010. 

During his tenure with the Hawks, Falasca has helped SJU to a 189-137-2 overall record, six Atlantic 10 Tournament appearances and three appearances in the A-10 Championship games. Additionally, 21 Hawks have earned A-10 All-Conference honors under Falasca's direction, while the team has won several in-season tournament including the 2011 Carolina Classic Tournament title and the 2010 UMBC Classic championship.

Falasca, who began coaching ASA team in 1997, served as head coach for the Lehigh Valley Flames for four seasons. From there, he spent two seasons as an assistant with the Springford Sting before joining the Blazing Angels for the past three years.

A former Little League baseball coach, Falasca is a 1973 graduate of Lehigh University and currently serves as its Director of Facility Services. His daughter, Kate, played softball for Saint Joseph's in 2006 and 2007.
