Susannah Anderson completed her first season as an assistant coach for the Saint Joseph's softball program in 2025.

In her initial year with the Hawks, Anderson helped to mentor the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Year, Marla Freiwald. The team's ERA also improved by more than a run from the previous season. Both Freiwald and Jules Scogna ranked in the top-10 of the Atlantic 10 in ERA and Taylor Trowbridge was sixth in the conference in complete games, also being named to the A-10 All-Tournament Team.

A standout pitcher at Boston College, Anderson comes to Hawk Hill after spending the previous year as a coach and teacher at Mystic Valley Regional Charter School. On the field, Anderson guided the Eagles to a 16-6 record and a second-place finish, while also helping Bailey DeLeire to Commonwealth Athletic Conference Small Division MVP honors.

Prior to Mystic Valley Regional Charter School, Anderson was a five-year standout in the circle at Boston College. Setting program records for appearances (155), starts (115) and innings pitched (702.2), Anderson also ranks third in complete games (55), sixth in strikeouts (467) and tied for ninth all-time in wins (39).

Named an All-ACC standout and All-Region recipient as a junior, the All-ACC Academic team honoree graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communications and a master’s degree in sports administration. Following graduation, Anderson played professionally in Germany for the Mannheim Tornados.
