Beginning his fourth year as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Saint Joseph's is Ahmad Salamah.

Working directly with the softball, men's soccer, golf, track, rowing and tennis teams, Salamah designs and implements training and strength programs to help student-athletes reach their potential which includes the use of Sparta Science, Catapult GPS and Polar heart-rate data. Named 2018-19 Coach of the Year by the SJU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, he works with the athletics training staff on return-to-play protocols for injured athletes, and has also served as the  primary author of Effect of NSAIDs on Muscle Adaptations to Resistance Training: A Brief Review (2019).

With more than five years experience with both teams and privately, Salamah has worked as a member of the strength and conditioning staffs with the New York Red Bulls, Siena College Athletics and Union College Athletics, as well as a strength coach at Vent Fitness, and Function and Strength.

A four-year standout in goal for the men's soccer program, Salamah graduated Magna Cum Laude from Adelphi in 2015 with a bachelor's degree in psychology. He earned a master's in kinesiology with a concentration in integrative exercise physiology from Temple in 2018.
