Morgan Nicora

Morgan Nicora begins her third year as assistant strength and conditioning coach at Saint Joseph’s in 2023-24.

Coming to Hawk Hill after spending the previous year at Haverford College, Nicora works directly with the Hawks’ women's soccer, softball, men's and women's track and field/cross country, men's and women's Tennis, and golf programs.

At Haverford, Nicora served as the assistant fitness center director/strength and conditioning coach where she created and implemented scientifically based field and weight room programs for all 23 varsity programs. Additionally, she oversaw all matters regarding Haverford’s Fitness Center and taught Introduction to Fitness and Independent Weight Training within the physical education curriculum.

Prior to Haverford, Nicora was a member of the Villanova strength and conditioning staff where she served as a volunteer assistant coach. During her tenure with the Wildcats, she assisted with field and weight room training sessions, correcting form/technique, lead warm ups, and provided nutritional supplementation for all student-athletes.

A 2019 graduate of Rowan University with a bachelor’s degree in health and exercise science, Nicora began her career as an undergrad as a volunteer assistant strength coach for the Profs.

A NSCA Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, Nicora also is a certified USA Weightlifting Level 1 Coach, NFPT Certified Personal Trainer, and is Adult CPR/AED/First Aid certified. Additionally, she has worked as a personal trainer at The Edge Fitness Clubs, and Peak Performance and is owner of Mor-Gainz Sports Performance and Fitness Training.
