2019 (Game-by-Game): Whittington appeared in 21 games his sophomore season, recording nine hits and eight runs, as well as a triple and home run. He also made five appearances on the mound, pitching to a 4.26 ERA in 6.1 innings.  

• Threw two scoreless innings of relief in his first career collegiate pitching apperance against Jefferson (3/26)
• Hit his second career home run, against defending Division III national champion Texas-Tyler (3/2)

2018 (Game-by-Game): Whittington appeared in 30 games his freshman season. He finished tied for second on the team in home runs and fourth in triples. He batted .230 with 20 hits, 14 runs scored and eight RBI. 

• Recorded a four-hit game on the final day of the season at Bloomfield, finishing with a double, triple, RBI and run scored in game two. This came after hitting his first career home run in game one (5/2)
• Reached base four times, finishing 2-for-3 with two walks and two runs scored at Caldwell (4/21)
• Had his first career multi-hit game, scoring a run, against Post (4/8)

Prior to USciences:

• Played four years of varsity baseball
• Bayside All-Conference Honors
• Two-time Team MVP
• Also played four years of varsity soccer, earning Bayside All-Conference Honors
• Invited to Senior All-Star Game for both baseball and soccer
