2019 (Game-by-Game): Johnson tied the program’s recorded single-season record (since 2005) for saves with three in 2019. He was also tied for third with two wins and fifth with 11 appearances. He pitched to a 5.91 ERA in 21.1 innings. Johnson enters his senior season second in program history with six career saves. He also had 90 at-bats in 2019, recording a .289 average with 26 hits, 15 runs, eight RBI and six doubles.

  • Scored a career-high four runs, as he had two hits and was hit by two pitches, in game one of a doubleheader at Jefferson (3/29)
  • Came through with the eventual game-winning two-RBI single in a five-run seventh inning, before returning to the mound to secure a 7-5 comeback triumph at No. 24 Wilmington, capping a day in which he finished 5-for-8 at the plate with three RBI, two doubles, a hit by pitch and a run. The junior recorded his first career three-hit game in game one (3/20)
  • Reached base in all three of his plate appearances in game one of a doubleheader sweep of Lincoln, as the junior went 2-for-2 with a double, walk and run scored as part of his first career multi-hit game (3/13)
  • Fourth career save sealed USciences' first win of 2019, a 7-6 triumph over regionally-ranked Bloomsburg, while moving the junior into a tie for second in program history (2/24)

2018 (Game-by-Game): Johnson led USciences with a 4.64 ERA in 2018, and was also tied for second on team with one save before his season was cut short due to injury. He made eight appearances on the mound, three of which were starts, and appeared in 14 games in total, collecting two hits and an RBI in 11 at-bats. Johnson ends his sophomore season tied for third in program history with three saves.

  • Reached base three times in his first career game with multiple at-bats, finishing 1-for-3 with two walks and an RBI against Post (4/8)
  • Recorded the save with three innings of scoreless relief, in which he gave up just two hits, at Felician (4/6)
  • Making just his second career start, recovered spectacularly from a two-run first inning to allow just two earned in a career-high 6.1 innings at Chesnut Hill. He scattered six hits and three walks, while striking out three (3/31)
