Biography
Devils Tennis Playing Career: Senior captain and four-year player for the Devils, who has played primarily at the 2nd and 3rd singles positions throughout his playing career, as well as playing all three doubles positions… Since arriving to USciences in 2011-2012, has amassed a career singles record off 33-17, ranking him 5th on the USciences men’s career singles wins list… Also owns a career doubles record of 30-22, which ranks 6th among Devils all-time wins leaders… Owns an 11-4 career singles record in CACC conference play… Has twice been named to the CACC Men’s Tennis All-Conference Teams during his career, earning Second Team honors in 2013, and Honorable Mention in 2014.
Prior To USciences: Was a four-year varsity tennis player for St. Ignatius College Preparatory in San Francisco, California.
Personal: Oldest son of Gennadiy and Jane Galerkin; younger sister, Claire (12). Chose USciences for the unique opportunity to play high-level, competitive tennis while studying to become a pharmacist. Passionate fan of professional soccer, in particularly Chelsea F.C…
