2020 (Game-by-Game): Due to an injury, LaPlante appeared in just four games in her shortened senior season. She recorded a double, walk, RBI and run in seven at-bats. LaPlante graduates sixth in program history with six career home runs and tied for ninth with 20 doubles, and she is one of just 17 Devils with to surpass 100 career hits. 

2019 (Game-by-Game): LaPlante appeared in a team-high 41-of-42 games in 2019, leading USciences with three home runs, a .420 slugging percentage and 22 RBI, the latter of which ranked tied for fifth in the program’s recorded single-season history (since 2005). She was also second on the team with 32 hits, 17 runs, 12 walks and seven doubles, and third with a .341 on-base percentage and .269 batting average. In the field, she finished third on the team with 86 put-outs as the primary starting center fielder. LaPlante enters her senior season sixth in program history with six career home runs, and 10th all-time with 19 career doubles. 

  • Hit second home run of season, highlighting a 2-for-3 performance that included three runs, three RBI and a walk in an 8-7 win at Chestnut Hill (4/18)
  • Recorded her 100th career hit in game two of a doubleheader wtih Bloomfield (4/16)
  • Hit a three-run home run, her second of the year, to momentarily give USciences a lead in game one at Dominican (4/14) 
  • Drove in four, which included an inside-the-park home run, as part of her first three-hit game of the season in game two of a doubleheader with Felician (3/30)

2018 (Game-by-Game): LaPlante was one of two players to appear in all 44 games for the Devils in 2018. She was USciences’ top hitter, leading the team with 44 hits, nine doubles, a .326 batting average and a .474 slugging percentage. She was also second with a .385 on-base percentage and three home runs, third with 18 RBI and four stolen bases, fourth with 13 walks, and fifth with 19 runs. LaPlante also finished with a .966 fielding percentage, good for third on the team. 

  • Had a multi-hit performance in game one, and a three-hit game in the nightcap, as she finished a doubleheader at Concordia 5-for-7 (4/29)
  • Two-run home run helped USciences to a game two victory over Felician (4/28)
  • Grand slam capped a career-high five-RBI day as part of a game one triumph over Nyack (4/21)
  • Finished a doubleheader sweep of Goldey-Beacom 6-for-7 with three RBIs, two runs, two extra base hits and a stolen base. Four-hit performance in game one was the first of her career (3/27)
  • Reached base multiple times in both games, finishing a doubleheader against No. 16 West Chester and Chowan 3-for-6 with two doubles, an RBI and a walk (2/25)
