2013: Was the Devils top finisher in all six races…Became the Devils first runner ot ever earn NCAA All-Region honors with a 20th place finish at the NCAA East Regional Championship at Franklin Park in Boston, Massachusetts…Broke her own school record at the NCAA East Regional Championship with a 6K time of 23:23.30…Won the CACC Championship at Belmont Plateau, earning CACC Runner of the Year honors in the process with a 5K personal best time of 19:35.94…Was 4th overall with a 6K time of 24:28.27 at the Jack St. Clair Invitational at Belmont Plateau…Was third overall with a 5K time of 20:16.33 at the Philadelphia Metro Championship at Belmont Plateau…Was fifth overall with a 6K time of 24:25.54 at the University of Delaware Invitational at White Clay Creek State Park…was second overall with a 5K time of 20:22.76 at the Wilmington University Invitational at Carousel Park.
2012: Was the Devils top finisher in all seven races during the 2012 season…set a school record for a 6,000-meter race at the NCAA East Region meet in Nashua, N.H. on 11/3, completing the 6K course in 23:24.6 to place 46th overall…Finished third overall at the CACC Championship meet, earning All-CACC honors with a personal-best time of 20:09.5…Finished third overall at the Goldey-Beacom Invitational with a time of 20:18.0…Was 29th overall at the Paul Short Invitational at Lehigh University with a time of 24:20.8…Recorded a time of 20:47.9 to place sixth overall at the Philadelphia Metro meet at Belmont Plateau on 9/22…Was fifth overall with a time of 21:29.7 at the Wilmington Univ. Invitational on 9/8…Made her collegiate debut with a 16th place finish at the DVC Invitational on 9/1, completing the 6K course in 26:15.18

Prior to USciences: Four year runner at Holy Redeemer High School…competed in outdoor track in addition to cross country…helped team to three straight PIAA district 2 Cross Country Championships (2009-11) and a state runner-up finish in 2010…ran 21:08 at the 2011 PIAA District 2 Championship, placing sixth overall…ran a Personal best time of 20:45 at the Paul Short meet on 9/30/11…ran a 5:31.84 in the 1,600 meter run at the Wyalusing (Lasagna) Invitational on 4/27/11, finishing sixth…later ran a 1,600-meter personal best time of 5:30.88 at the PIAA district championship, placing third…was second at the 2011 PIAA district meet in the 3,200-meter run with a personal best time of 11:58.97…earned most outstanding distance runner award…also played basketball for one season
Personal: One of two children of Michelle and Joseph Ligotski…Both parents are alumni of Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science…Father was a member of the PCPS cross country team from 1979-1981…chose USciences because of its physical therapy program as well as its successful cross country program along with the school’s location…Brianna hopes to find a job within her major upon graduation and run a marathon.
