Biography

2014-15:  Played in eight doubles and six singles matches during the season…earned a pair of doubles wins  on 9/21 against Cheyney University at #3 doubles, 8-0 and 8-0 teaming with Anna Vo….earned her lone singles wins on 4/21/15 against Cabrini College (9-8 (7-4) at the #5 singles slot. 

2013-14:  Appeared in six singles matches and eight doubles matches for the Devils…Played primarily at #3 doubles and split time in four slots at singles (#3-#6)…earned an 8-0 win at #3 doubles at Post University on 9/28, teaming with Alexis Vidal…had a tough 8-6 #3 doubles loss vs. Molloy on 9/8, teaming with Tea Cadenovic…had a tough 4-6, 5-7 #4 singles loss vs. Caldwell College on 9/10. 

2012-13:  Appeared in two singles matches and four doubles matches…lost a hard fought match at #6 singles at Bryn Mawr College on 3/29/13, 4-6, 3-6…lost 2-8 at #3 doubles vs. Randolph-Macon 3/24/13…lost 3-8 at #3 doubles at Rutgers-Camden on 10/14, teaming with Nicole d’Ascenzo… 

Honors and Activities:  Named to Dean’s List five times in her first six semesters…Served as a Resident Advisor for the past two academic years…Assistant Director for Motions Dance Company (2015-16)...also served as the organization's President for 2014-15 and SGA rep for 2013-14. 

Prior to USciences:  Four year tennis player at Sterling High School…served as team captain as a senior, earning the varsity Award (Outstanding Athlete) for Best Overall Record and Leadership. 

Personal:  Oldest of three children of Joseph and Monica Korn…Is entering her first professional and fourth year overall in USciences’ Doctor of Physical Therapy program...”USciences was the best school to get my degree and I was excited to be able to play Division II sports while achieving my goals.”…after graduation plans to get a job within the physical therapy field and hopefully someday work for the Pennsylvania ballet.
