Liz Martin concludes her second year as an assistant coach on Denise Roessler's staff in 2014. Martin’s primary responsibility includes offensive personnel.

In 2014, Martin helped lead the Hawks’ offensive unit to an increase in overall shots, shots on goal, and shots per game. For the first time in seven years, seven different players scored 10 or more goals for the Hawks – the first time that feat was accomplished since 2007.

Martin came to Saint Joseph's in 2012-13 having spent the previous year at Rutgers-Camden as the head women's lacrosse coach, where she was the head of recruiting as well as the offensive and defensive coaches and academic coordinator for student-athletes.

Martin was the head coach at the University of Delaware from 2005-10 and an assistant coach at Marist College during the 2004-05 season.

An All-American at Temple, Martin was a member of both the women's soccer and lacrosse teams from 1999 to 2003. For lacrosse, Martin was a member of three consecutive Atlantic 10 championship teams and was named to three Atlantic 10 All-Tournament teams. In addition, Martin was named to the All-Conference First Team during both her sophomore and junior seasons and was named the Most Outstanding Player of the 2001 and 2002 A-10 Tournaments.

A 2004 graduate of Temple, Martin received her bachelor's degree in sport and recreation management.
